that you can keep your look very simple and still get some impact. When wearing navy, I typically lean toward brown shoes, however I've admired the black and navy combination enough times to know it can also be a low risk combo. The knit tie here was really my only nod to a not so ordinary look.

@John the suit is a MTM piece from a while back. The tassel loafers are a pair of dead stock E.T Wright Classics.

Once read somewhere that if you ain't under 70kg & 6-foot tall, you shouldn't touch a double-breasted with a long pole.

@Sunkanmi - Definitely disagree with those "rules". While they're not flattering on every single person, I think the notion of a height and weight requirement limiting at best and ridiculous at worst. You won't know until you put one on. Hopefully you can easily tell if it's for you or not or have someone knowledgeable enough to.

The double-breasted suit exudes timeless elegance and sophistication. Its structured silhouette and dual rows of buttons create a polished and powerful look, perfect for formal occasions or making a sharp statement in professional settings.

I once read that if you're not under 70 kg and 6 feet tall, you should steer clear of double-breasted jackets. What do you think about that?
