THE SUIT PRIMER...
Education begins a gentleman. Conversation adds his charm. Style completes him. Nothing is more indicative of a man's style than how he wears a suit.

Lets Talk Fit...
Making The Cut...As I really started learning more about suiting and what works for me, I began to understand what I liked and what I didn't. Now, I lean solidly towards the English Cut illustrated to the left.
I definitely recommend trying out different jacket styles and figuring out what looks best on you as opposed to what "stylists" or blogs tell you is in. I'd like to be able to wear these suits, weight willing, in ten, twenty years from now ala Prince Charles. Classic. |

A Little Bit on Lapels...
The notch is widely recognized as the conventional lapel style when it comes to suiting. However the peak lapel bring a little bit of flair to a suit particularly one made with a bolder fabric. Peak lapels are also more likely to be found on a Double Breasted suit. The Shawl collar continues to be mainly reserved for tuxedo jackets. I find myself leaning more and more towards peak lapels these days.
