So, if you've been following the blog for any period of time, you've probably noticed that I don't really wear shorts. Generally because I find it difficult to find shorts that don't look weird on me while still fitting my personal preferences. Most shorts are either borderline capri's or short shorts, neither of which I find terribly appealing. Long story, short (pun intended), shorts for me generally aren't worth the hassle unless they are basketball shorts while running errands.
All that being said, some guys really like them and depending on what the temperature is like where you live, they might be the most practical option for days where you don't have to wear trousers. Now onto the topic of wearing a jacket with shorts. While it may seem counter intuitive, there are some days where the weather is just perfect for it, especially if the jacket it completely unlined and very breatheable like this navy cotton jacket is.
Throwing a short-sleeved OCBD into the mix also isn't a bad idea for keeping things cool. Of course some say never wear short-sleeved shirts with jackets, but I say do you. Finally, I thought this was a great way to experiment with the navy and gray #menswear uniform.
