"Wear your clothes." This is an idea I've heard often, that clothes are meant to be worn. Not acquired and admired in closets. I get this, but unless you're rolling in it you probably wouldn't walk out of the house on a day of non-stop rain in a brand new pair of Edward Green loafers. My thoughts are similar when it comes to an event where I want to look good but know that there is a good possibility of "incidents" such as a spill happening, such as a wedding of a family member. Yes, I'm not a toddler, but things happen and I don't want to be overly concerned about ruined clothes when trying to kick it. I realized recently that I have now picked up a decent number of low-investment items for days like this. Something to think about.
