Over the last few weeks, we've had some really strange weather in the St. Louis area. Normally walking out of the house in the summer in August often feels like walking into a steam room, but not this year. At least, not so far. Today, however is a much warmer day than what we've had, so of course I had to rock with the lighter weight fabrics. I have grown to appreciate hats quite a bit as well this summer and have incorporated a handful of them into my wardrobe as well.
Last note I wanted to make. From my last blog post to this, I've gotten a lot of comments regarding the "no sock" issue. Two words: No-Shows. While I guess I should consider myself genetically blessed that I don't get smelly feet, I also like to keep the lining of my shoes in as good a condition as I can, so I am rarely truely sockless. Also, there are a number of things you can do to maintain the condition of your shoes should you prefer to not wear socks, such as using shoe trees immediately after.
