This year, to celebrate the annual running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, I teamed up with G.H Mumm to create an outfit appropriate for the event. The champagnes of G.H Mumm have served as an "icon of victory" since 1827, so its only appropriate that I crack a bottle open to celebrate the Derby and the neat thing is I get to open it regardless of whoever wins!
My desire to do something slightly different from the picnic blanket or park backdrop set up that originally came to mind led me to make a call. Tom over at Circle S Stables was kind enough to get me set up to use the stables and surrounding area to get some neat shots. I also got to meet a few of the horses who seemed to take to the camera quite well.
