Last Days of Linen

According to the calendar, summer is officially over.  While it may not quite yet feel like it outside, fall is definitely well on its way.  As such, I am taking the opportunity to enjoy as much of linen wardrobe as possible including some of the piece I didn't really get to appreciate this summer.  There's been quite a bit of change happening in my life that I've been advised will impact my approach towards my wardrobe.  While I am quite doubtful that will be the case, it will be quite interesting to see what modifications if any will be necessary to balance my new responsibilities with my sense of style.

I tend to struggle with linen because I'm almost compulsive about things being crisp and wrinkle free, so there was some mental compromising involved in putting this outfit together.  Accepting that the wrinkles are what make linen work is a key step in the ability to put together an almost all linen outfit and not be visibly uncomfortable all day.  You know, that individual who is constantly self-adjusting and tugging on their clothes.

Regardless, I welcome this new phase of life with open arms and look forward to sharing the journey with you.
