Admittedly, I'm a bit late in getting this post up considering that If I walked outside in this combination today, I would probably explode into flames. Ok, so that's a spot of exaggeration, but I think you get my drift with the visual.

Burgundy Museum Calf

I developed an interest in museum calf not too long ago, but frankly felt like it had become too trendy with every color of leather having its own "museum" version.  The term was originally coined by John Lobb to describe a calf leather that had been pre-treated to obtain a marbled-like effect. I recently picked up a pair of burgundy museum calf captoe oxfords from Meermin to see how I felt about them in person.

Burgundy has quickly become my favorite color in leather and with this pair.

,while the marbling is quite unusual for me, I do believe this pair will grow on me.
