First off, I apologize for the infrequency of posts of late.  That thing called work, ya know?  However, I'm blessed to have a job I enjoy plus its been unbearably hot here in the 'Lou, so there's also that.

Alright, so by now, I'm sure I've beaten the idea of the #menswear uniform to death in other posts, but that because its damn near impossible to go wrong with the navy and gray combination, fit issues and other considerations aside.  It pretty much works with anything and every once in a while lends itself to a bit of ostentation as seen here with the polka dot tie and socks.  Once I decided to bypass the almost automatic tendency to wear a solid white shirt, I decided to really have fun with it.  My trousers are long enough to where the socks would only really be noticeable while sitting and I thought the broad white tipped red linen pocket square would help highlight the contrast collar and cuff of the shirt a bit more.
